i bought mine used for a really really good price so i wasn't too miffed that i didn't have the pig tail features, but do you know if it's possible to send the pedal to MG to get it upgraded to all the 'hazarai'?

No idea. Try sending him a mail. I also have no idea if its possible to do youself. Would be cool though, although i would be kinda carefull about muffling around my echo folks.

i think it's great. Obviously its utility depends on what genre are you playing. But *technically* is very good and it does his job very effectively. Besides, I didn't explore all of its features and... hey, it's a Boss!

How is the box of metal? Zvex's claim that it can do a Bogner Uberschall has put it on my radar somewhat.

My sweet little board:
Morley Power Wah -> PlumCrazy FX SiClops (got it today) -> Korg Pitchblack -> Amp
The 4-way on the bottom is the amp switcher.
Nothin' special, but it's enough for me. For the moment at least
But I would love to have a second board for mod, delay and stuff...
