It's probably a BYOC build or something. Odds are on a muff clone/variant.

offered 600$ a week ago, he declined. gave him a week to maybe get more offers in. . .
now,
hardball time. just sent him an email of sold listings showing that a 600$ cash local offer is actually on the high side. so anyone else interested will either
A. offer less
B. offer the same but who knows when.
now to wait for the break, the counter, or the ignore cause im correct

Any idea what the frequency response of that cab is? ;-)
Sonny's had one for a while he's been trying to sell me.... and now that we're in drop F I think it might be time to figure something out....

I so hate it when people lowball me, but it feels so good to do it to other people. All's fair in love and gear wars dude. Making the offer and walking away is a good haggle strategy. It's worked for me even when I wasn't doing it on purpose and honestly hoped the guy would get his asking price elsewhere!

i think 6 is a pretty solid offer. for me. my lowballs are usually 55% of thier asking price. x amount of cash in your hand in 1 hour does wonders

$600 local cash is definitely a solid, not dickhead offer. Dude is obviously a douche who's trying to cash in on vintage gear.

Yeah, to be fair $100 under asking price isn't really a lowball when the asking is $700 lol. Although some people tell you to fuck off if they're asking $550 and you offer $540, so you don't have to get a $10 bill. $600 seems like a decent offer, I'd just let him stew in the offer and be overly polite and positive if he declines. He might end up emailing you back after a week lol.

Yea I feel 600 is more than fair. I've used that type of haggle as well and am always well prepared to just walk off totally. like when I got my first sunn concert lead from a pawn shop he wanted 700 cause that's what he saw on the internet which I said I know for a fact that's wrong cause I look daily as well. Then he came down to 370 and I said well I have 275 in my hand in cash. He kinda frowned and said well if I sell it online I'll get more. And I said maybe, I can also go online and get one for much less but I'm hear now with cash. I'll let you decide while i put my stuff back in my truck (I had brought a Kustom 215 and a guitar to test it out with since I knew how the cab sounded and the guitar sounded) then I just got in my truck and started to act like I was going to go on and leave he popped out and asked if I needed a receipt.
