I made this for NDominy a couple weeks ago. I think you can figure out what it is




The triangle is "hammered" if you couldn't tell. Pulled the name "Spritzer" from an old Maestro ad...


To be honest, I didn't want to send that pedal off when I got it finished. Might be my favorite build so far.

Awesome! I built one of those last week and gave it to a friend. It's sounded fucking awesome, though. Thank god I ordered two of those boards!

Thanks! Yea, I totally 'ed when it was done and I didn't have one for myself. It was a doozy measuring out everything for that space. When I build myself one, I'll likely make the "harm" toggle a stomp switch instead.

Yea I made one for my neighbor hoping he would use it tonight when his band opens for Sleep. It would have been great to hear something I made being amplified in such a huge space on a good sound system but I guess the Brassmaster doesn't fit in with the tone of their band. I guess it would have been better for him if it had a tone control. But if I mod it with a tone control I'll probably have to add a boost recovery stage, as well... So, I might get it back but I have another board to build anyway. I'm gonna socket the trannies this time, though.

I did find something interesting with the build. I didn't have a 3pdt for the harmonic switch, so I wired up two DPDTs instead. When you flip them symmetrically it works as it's supposed to function. When you don't flip one of them you get a different tone that's another shade. A great pedal!

So, this is a little embarrassing, but I just realized I mislabeled the toggle switches. Feel kind of stupid, but the 3pdt is required for the 1/2 brass tones, and the spst is the harmonic.

Haha, yea I was trying to get that one off to Nate before he left for tour, believe it was a success, though I'm not sure if he's actually using it. Thanks for the tip with the switch, I added it to my notes already

not much to see here. I just added an effects loop to Jack Deville's Dark Echo, now making it my favorite digital delay out there. the loop is easy enough to add. all you have to do is cut the middle lug of the mix pot and then take two jacks, one going from each side of the cut lug (one is connected to the pcb, the other to the pot).

thats a tight pcb in a tight box. I would be a little sketched out to try it.

Sonic Titan > SHO

The ST makes for a great rhythm tone and the SHO is an awesome lead boost, not to mention how good it is by itself.
