he told us to krank it after hours and just play a b and wreck the speakers so we'd have a reason to send it back before selling it to a customer
and going through the headache of a return.
i've never tried the pedals though.

her :flame: me

Well, she turned it into 'art' after I found it in a dumpster.
No great loss. In fact, I took great pleasure in burning all the "art" she left here. :animal:

I just thought it was some kind of extreme relicing...
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

I got to play one a few weeks back & I must say, it was hard not to walk out with it. Not positive but it couldn't have been more than $400 or so.

I have a sunburst one like that.
My brother has an older Strat shaped one which he stripped from robin's egg blue to natural in the '70s.

I also have a Coranado deluxe bass, love that thing to death.

I've had soooo many of these in the past 10 years or so. A late HII with a thick poly finish (sound-deadening) and dimarzio humbuckers (so seventies!) and couple of basket-case projects that needed to be rescued and brought back to life, a HII body that had split along the laminations that I routed for an internal GK pickup (I know). These two were the best of the bunch, and I'm never getting rid!
