Take a Jag, install one of them and Nordstrand ‘70s wound pickups and you’ll kill.

I can't imagine how amazing that would sound.

I just joined the t-40 club! its an '81, neck straightened out perfect just need to adjust the tilt a bit and slap on some new strings.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal on a bass right now. 350 for a vintage american made instrument with a bunch of cool options like neck tilt, metal nut, high mass bridge, and string through, not to mention all the cool combinations you can do with pick ups like coil splitting and phase switch. a MIM pbass will cost you about that much with out a hardcase.

Had about an hour to myself last night, got some bass laid down on new material. It's refreshing like a cup of coffee to pick up and play a cold-necked instrument.

That bass is damn beautiful. I wish there was somewhere I could try a Dingwall. I have never heard a bad thing about these basses!

That is the first Dingwall that didn't make me throw up in my mouth a little. I wish I could try one out too.

I love my T40 but I just picked up this Precision today and it is the best playing and feeling bass I've played. So smooth and the resonance is insane. I'm extremely stoked to start playing this.

Is that a "road worn" P?

Or a legitimately "road worn" P?

Not trying to start the old relic argument,...I could care less if the aesthetic is factory or put on by years and years of love; I love me a P Bass and I have considered the "road worn" P's in the past. But I think I'm gonna put some effort into a Green Chinese P bass copy and hot rod it.

I'm all for hot rodding cheap guitars. The Precision I got is the road worn line. The "road worn" aspect of it doesn't really bother me, the second I picked up this line of basses and played them, I fell in love with the feel, playability, and sound. I would of gone with an AVRI, since those are also finished in nitro, but none at a good price have come up in my area. On the upside, this has a thinner layer of nitro, which makes it feel ever smoother and the notes breath off the wood like no later bass I've ever played. Definitely glad to finally find someone selling one.
