King does have some great shit.
When I have time I gotta get around to Dark Castle and The Stand.
Carrie is great. Misery is a good read and Christine is much better than the film version.

I just finish Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions.
So fucking good. Could've been written this year. And it's only February.

Just starting Empire: How Britain Made the Modern World by Niall Ferguson.
Kind of getting the impression early on it isn't going to be as condemning as it possibly should be...

My gf was all about that Clan of the Cave Bear series.

Please refer to that 'Misery' Family Guy episode for my feelings about Stephen King because there apparently isn't a gif.

Breakfast of Champions is my second favorite Vonnegut book. Use that every time I order a martini...

Forgot Abaddon's Gate came out. Read that and it was definitely the weakest of the trilogy.

I guess Snow Crash is next.

I'm having lots of fun with David Brin on Audiobooks and Angolan author Ondjaki in print in the moment. Totally different styles of writing, and reading in two different languages to the one I speak usually is really blowing the dust off my language center.

Just finished Brent Weeks' The Black Prism. Ready for the second of this trilogy. Love his previous work with the Night Angel trilogy.
Something witty and/or prophetic here.

Thanks for the tipp. Budding prospects was a great read as well.
I'll try the Friend of the Earth then. I think, I haven't done that one yet.

Trying to finish Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge, and Truth by Mirza Tahir Ahmad.

Really rad and super interesting but it is dense as hell and I end up having to research a bunch of stuff to get a frame of reference for certain sections so it's been taking me awhile.
Skullservant, Ryan Summit and MSUsousaphone are righteous dudes
