New bass on Friday just gone. 77 with upgraded Bad Ass II bridge. Gonna keep this one in E standard and have the 2001 in C# as it's string through. More gear coming later this week.

If I could get one with an ash body, walnut top and 24 frets for under 2k and on a payment plan I totally would!

Love the straight LP tone, but I guarantee someone is already running an LP through the Skyhammer pre-amp...I have this thing about even if my tone is going to be similar to someone elses, has to have a different dimension to it, not necessarily better, just something different than the standard pallette.

yeah 260w / 200w is alot closer then 260w / 1000w. Hopefully this will get them to a more even volume then the 4x12 blaring loud and the 2x15 just getting going.

Im opting for: Ash Body, Walnut Top, Maple neck-thru(ebony fretboard), Tune-O-Matic, Two tone pots, and Dual Humbucker(still planning on putting in a HB sized P-90 in the neck, suggestions?)

Sick dude!!! I've wanted a Monson for a long time now, but I have this thing where most of my guitars get beat to hell so I'd rather spend less and mod them so I don't feel bad.

Welcome to the Hiwatt club, Ancient! Love my Custom 100 to pieces.

It's raining in Italy right now but still like 85 degress, it's fucking beautiful! Drinking wine and listening to some Colour Haze before I grab dinner with the better half and it's just perfect. Someone play something super loud so I can hear it over here - maybe Whiskey and Ancient you guys could synchronize something and blast the rigs, although that might affect the Earth's rotation so maybe not. Feel the Love:

After looking around I'm probably just going to get 2 more Weber Michigan 15's, I know they sound good and that will put the cab at 200watts which is as close as i can get to the 4x12's 260 watts. Any other speakers gonna put me at either 100watts or 400watts total for the cab, I saw Jensen had some offerings in the "mod" line but their response charts were all over the place, and non-linear.

I have that eminence Delta Pro 15A/ Celestion sidewinder combo going in my 2x15. I'm not sure what that is wattage wise (are the wattages additive? if so then it is 550) but tone-wise, it fucking slays.

You lucky dog!!! You best enjoy that meal!! And yeah, me cranking up along with whiskey would atleast cause shifts int he earths tectonic plates so it might not be a good idea.

Yes they are additive, I've got Delta 15's in there right now and love the smooth linear tone, but they just need more wattage then i can give them right now especially while paired with the 4x12.

Thanks buddy!!! And I try!!! I wanted a kt88 amp, a 6550 amp, and a good EL34 guitar amp. I've got all those bases covered now. :yay: The peavey is an awesome EL34 amp but I wanted something with more character instead of a super clean amp as all my other amps are and this Hiwatt fits the bill nicely.
