I love those pickups Achtane. I got some from Hbomb that are microphonic, loud, and Hifi as hell. I had one in my black strat for the longest time

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Thanks guys, I'm really digging it.
There's so much shit on my desk and table that I'm getting antsy just thinking about sorting it all out. I still have to assemble a bicycle too...
Nah, gonna leave it as-is this time around. It's all I want in a guitar right now, plus I'm kinda tired of all these parts and hacked-together stuff cluttering the place up.backwardsvoyager wrote:are you gonna keep it like that or go all Electric Dragon 80000V on it?

I don't care for Adam Sandler, but I do like that guitar, and this is appropriate, so....

This needs to be on this page as well. How are you liking that neck PU?

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Thanks for all the compliments, haha.
. It's dead quiet, perfect output level, total clarity without being sterile and can still get dirty when pushed with a fuck or anything comparable. Blends great with the old dimarzio in the bridge and piezo under the vibrato plate. I like how it looks like an early Alembic pickup too. I've had it in this since last October.
thanks, it's my only electric so I've gone to certain lengths to make it everything I need it to be. The front is the Impulse Records logo if you're not familiar (favourite label), back is something I found in a magazine and cut out.hbombgraphics wrote:dang dude that is sick

Man, I regret not picking up one of those for cheap now. Well, it looks stunning.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Well, I'm gonna follow that up with a *similar* guitar taken with a *shitty* camera.

New guitar courtesy of the other guitarist in my band. Notably my first "not Squier or worse" guitar - aka first good guitar and I love it so much. I can't wait to play it through my Marshall next band practice!
!
It's a late 60's Mustang, that was smashed to bits by the wife of its previous owner when she found out he was having an affair. He gave it to a local luthier to fix, and he fixed/refin'ed it (somewhat poorly, but MAAAAD mojo!
) and sold it to my buddy for pretty cheap. I traded one of my fixies + $300 for it. Couldn't be happier!
EDIT: I plan on taking decent photos tomorrow if it's nice out. I am seriously so hyped to actually own a nice guitar for a change. This will probably be my #1 until I can afford my dream Harvester Jazzy/Starcaster hybrid in one million years.

welcome to the mustang club. Is the body contoured? I can't tell due to the angle/shadow.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Nope! Good ol' slab style! I considered myself a junior 'stang owner before. I actually have one of those Jay Turser MG-2s that I put some vintage-spec pickups in. Super solid guitar, but this!
I hope to take some decent photos tomorrow so you guys can see my darling in her prime. Such a neat axe.
