My dad told me that back before he bought his strat in 94, he used to hate them more than most guitars. That thing has been his main guitar for 20 years now, he said the same thing as you hbomb, that they just feel right in his hands.

I've never experienced the same sensation from his strats before though, I prefer the wide ass neck of the SG for whatever reason.

Main point is, yea UC's strat is beautiful.

I've got an Ibanez where the trem is blocked, but it's not quite the same thing.

i wish i could still play a wizard neck, helped me so much developing my playing a few years ago, now my hands start to ache from the way you have to anchor your fingers on them since they're so thin.

Haha. I don't even know why it's set up like that. I'm just trying something new. I've got a few incoming pedals, so it's just for fun while I wait. I'd really like to take a weekend off and try different pairings and make a "final" pedalboard and sell the rest (Seppuku's excluded because addicted).

And thanks for the nice comments, ILFers! Hardtail strat is the only kind of strat for me. The neck is a Warmoth C, which is a little too thin for me, but hopefully I'll order a fatty over the summer and it will be le bomb!

Haha, thanks. I posted the setup on instagram and most people seemed more interested in the guitar than the board there too

It's a black korina body with a raw canary neck. A very nice combination in my opinion.
