Those of you doing the video synthesis stuff, I'm trying to pick up an A/V mixer and I want to get/make something like a critter and guitari videoscope. If I combined these with like a VCR or something I should be able to get some pretty decent results right? If I want to manipulate live video is there anything special I need?

what do you mean combine with a VCR? you'll need a time base corrector if you want to use it with a projector, I think most a/v mixers have them built in. not sure tho, something to look out for. if you want to run it into your computer, you'll need a decent video capture device.

Like if I run a VCR into one channel, is that a thing? I have this idea of fucking with movies and such. I have an older tube TV I can use at home currently, and I think I want to pick up a small one if I end up doing this live instead of going the projector route.

you owe me a new keyboard, I just drooled all over mine. That guitar is fucking sexy.

Today we tracked some lofi-synth stuff in the band. This setup was used and abused. Actually, there was more than just this. I ran it through the other guitarists stuff with a reamp, so that would be like TC nova drive, reverb, delay and modulator and another space. The TC nova drive is actually really tasty, and obvi on synth as well.

Not a stupid question. I tried that once but you have to press down a key to allow the line in to be heard.
The first pedal on my board is an ABY that I made to use both at the same time. Added a volume control to the synth in so that the signals can be more balanced. It isn't perfect because there can be loading issues and that sort of thing. In reality it'd be best to use an active mixer but for a home setup this works well.
If you turn the oscillators up on the Micro you can drone and play if you hold a note down... I do it with my Minitaur and apparently so does Aen...

Fancy setup. The possessed is really much better than I thought too. It is really playable and a blast.

3 new pedals today that needed testing. Once I kicked in the Memory Loss while I had a reverse loop going it sounded like some end of the world shit. Really need to get some sort of setup that will let me record this.

Oh wow, that looks amazing. Please do get that recording equipment! I want another memory loss to pair with my first one. Want some double glitch action going.
