Re: The headsup sweet shit on ebay thread....
I think the reliability issues were with the early mf delays. I know the release date got pushed back on those and not any of the other mf pedz. Shortly after release proaudiostar on ebay had 100's of these things listed as refurbished out the door for $119. I passed at that point. Im sure all the quirks have been ironed out by now.Uncle Grandfather wrote:Were there reliability issues with the minifoogers?

I'd scoop if I wanted it, I had one and it was cool but just too heavy

Ordered.
Therefore, I'm done for the next several months as I pay that shit off to PayPal. So someone get this:
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/ ... 11291.html
Digitech XP-100 Whammy for $50 in Bethesda, Maryland. Govmnt_Lacky, who hangs at the Madbean Pedals and DIYstompboxes forums, will mod this to do all the Space Station sounds and the reverb and modulation sounds from the series for under $200 last I heard.

Not bad I guess but I routinely see Space Stations for not much more (probably about the same when you consider paying for shipping both ways)...Govmnt_Lacky, who hangs at the Madbean Pedals and DIYstompboxes forums, will mod this to do all the Space Station sounds and the reverb and modulation sounds from the series for under $200 last I heard.

Re: The headsup sweet shit on ebay thread....
His thread at Madbean raised the possibility of a parts kit for DIY-ers. I was contemplating doing the mod myself, and hadn't gotten around to pricing the flashed EPROMs before the Eventide came up. Not for the faint of heart, but that could keep the costs way down. Simplest thing would be to just do the Space Station mod without any more sounds switchable, but the extra effort and cost is relatively trivial once you go that far.fever606 wrote:Emailed...http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/msg/4955311291.html

[Btw, did that Big Spider deal pan out? I try to pass on good deals here, but it's usually a not-entirely-altruistic "please buy it before I do" so hopefully I'm not the cause of any budget woes.

Agreed. I bought mine on here second hand and both my brother-in-law (guitarist) and I (bassist) think it is tits.resincum wrote:wonder why they decided not to carry the brand. some really awesome shit on there for cheap.
