Think I've posted pictures of it before, but took one today, so might as well post it, right?

Not me. I'd end up selling it anyway, somehow I don't gel with Jazzys save for very specific uses.Schlatte wrote:yes. everyone should.BitchPudding wrote:I should get a jazzmaster.

I see those, and think John McGeoch and thus Siouxie and the Banshees/Magazine, thus in most cases, Yamaha SGs> Gibsons.UglyCasanova wrote:I can't see a SG without thinking of AC/DC, and I fucking hate AC/DC. Non-red ones can be nice though. Like meows.

It's funny how certain instruments put different bands/guitarists in people's minds though, to the point that it shapes what they like or not about certain gear.
Overa decae ago, when The Darkness were the biggest band in the country, I couldn't even look at a Les Paul for about a year, let alone play one. Now I own this beauty:

and I couldn't be happier with it, speaks to my inner Manic Street Preachers (James Dean Bradfield is a god) and Sex pistols fan. That micro Marshall thing's not my main amp though. I was just messing around one afternoon with it, away from my Orange Tiny Terror, so those things are ideal.
Also, as the result of a nice tax rebate a couple of weeks ago, I got this (apologies for the shite pic):

Needs a little tweaking, the socket comes loose like the Classic Vibe tele I have, and I am thinking of changing the pickups for some "proper" Wide Ranges by some pickup winder (Probably the Creamery, being UK-based and all) but I do like this a lot so far, to the point I'm thinking of getting rid of my Classic Vibe & Baja teles - I like both of them, and especially the Baja's chunky neck (could always put that neck on the Thinline I guess...), but this thinline has enough "Tele-ish" character for me at this point.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
So after playing some guitars at guitar center a few months ago, I ended up deciding that I need a bigsby in my life.

Shitty pic, but it's on my Blacktop Jaguar. You can see where some of the finish chipped off while removing the old tailpiece, and while you can't see in pic, you can see where I plugged TOM tailpiece holes too irl.
I'm contemplating putting a tele bridge pickup in since the Bigsby came with a tele bridge plate. <_<
Still waiting on the roller bridge to arrive tho (should be here by the middle of next week). It's one of the Wilkinson style ones where everything can be locked down, so I'll have to shim the saddles so radius can match up.
Loving the bigsby tho. I sat around for like 40 minutes playing spaghetti western-y chord stuff after installing it.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Double post, but whatever. Bridge arrived, had to shim a few saddles cus radius mismatch (it's still not matched up with neck, but action is low and comfortable as fuck, and helps a lot with my wrist), and put a thicker shim in the neck (this bridge is around 2ish mm taller than the original). I'm glad that I decided to put a bigsby + roller bridge on it. Only thing is that the third string sounds a lot darker than it used to. I mean, all of the strings do, but even compared to the others, it sounds really dark now. Anyone have any suggestions?
But anyway, enough with my rambling. Here is it:

that's basically indecent exposure
