Adam, you definitely hit on something…enjoying my work. I went to an interview today for a job that would pay pretty well but I would hate my life. Not taking it. The wife and I leaning even further towards me being a stay-at-home. A buddy may be turning me on to a pretty cool sales gig that I could do from home in the evenings and some weekends (not telemarketing you guys!).

Last night I applied for the Apple gig. As a mac whore from way back, hopefully they'll see me as a natural and I can end up going to work in my underwear.

I did a little research and there is a subscription website that cuts through all of the BS work-from-home scam/crap jobs. There are a ton of legitimate opportunities out there, I applied for a job from there today and will probably apply at 10 more jobs tonight/tomorrow. Obviously Apple would be a great company to work for but there are other opportunities. The website is called FlexJobs. PM me if you are interested in it, if I refer you, you get 60% off for one month I believe, normal price is $15 a month and it gets cheaper monthly with a longer subscription.

Update: I have an offer letter for a sweet gig. I will be able to watch my soon-to-be-born daughter until 3pm. My wife's Mom or Aunt will pop in and cover from 3-5:30pm, until my wife gets home. I will work from 3-8pm M-F and this job pays WELL, very very good for 25 hours a week. I will be working on the phone and computer from the desk in music room (sound proofed detached garage). I am also working on possibly starting a business with a buddy too. SO I will be busy as hell but yeah, it looks like things are going to work out.
