It seems that, for as long as I can remember, listing the power consumption in place of the power output rating is standard practice in Craiglist ads for old Peavey solid state amps.

Yup. I've even emailed a guy and told him that "sorry buddy, but your peavey 115 combo with a 15 extension cab isn't 500 watts!"
He ignored me and posted that damn thing for months. It was so annoying every time I saw it....

Nashville, hands down has the best CL of all time.

Nashville CL is pretty bad ass. There are a lot of strats, teles, vox and fender combos though.... Not that there is anything wrong with that. It can be frustrating when searching for doom gear that's all. And when something good does pop up, it gets snagged quick.

I'm a little obsessed with checking in to see what's new... My wife is bothered by it for some reason

I remember seeing those Sunns. I think he had a 2000S and a 1200S head for a grand each. Them emperor cabs have been there for what seems like ages. I've seen that 360 stack in person and didn't bother asking how much 'cause I knew it would be too much.

The 360 is overpriced, and I would't really want the cab at collectable vintage retail price, but hot damn it's in sweet shape. Not enough to drive to Madison, but still. The Sunn guy hasn't relisted the other two, so he probably sold them.

I agree, seems very reasonable. Don't know why they'd last ages. I'm looking for more speakers (2x15 instead of 1x15, 4x10 instead of 2x10), but those made me think about offering to buy them without the head. Nothing against a Carvin, would just want to try to save $300 that way.

Best deal I saw recently was a Peavey Standard for $80 in Milwaukee about two weeks ago. That's gone...
