Figured you'd be refining there. Have you considered and OCD? It's not very ilf-credible but I know a couple of people that absolutely swear by it.

Yeah I was planning on switching out the electrics, and I will probably fit it with a hi-mass bridge. As long as the neck and feel of it is good I'm happy. What are the machine heads like? do they hold the tuning well?

Ooh hi mass bridge is a good idea, I'll add that to the full overhaul list for next year
Tuners aren't bad, not the best but far from the worst I have used
I've been dreaming about modding it since I saw one that had been painted pink and gutted for a humbucker, sounded massive
It's a good bass though, I just, for some reason prefer my piece of shit pink p bass copy I got for $40. I'd like to get the jag to the point where I prefer it, I'm just afraid of fucking it up
