I'd like to try The Arrows one day. For a boost it actually sounds pretty cool.

What about the Pareidolia? I had been curious about one for some time, but ended up going with straight tremolo. Now that neither straight tremolo nor straight phaser are quite my jam, I wonder if a combination of the two would work..? More specifically, what's it's maximum rate?
Good Deal List: bearbeams, pena_55, sonidero, greyscales, ChetMagongalo, xchristophex, Monkey Boy, krautrocker, osbornkt

How do you guys when stacking dirt cut down on noise without sacrificing toan?

I ended up dialing mine back some, I feel like you don't need quite as much gain when you're stacking them. You might also try figuring out which pedal produces the most noise and move it around. Might behave better when it's first/last whatever. I ended up putting my treblebooster after my OCD, so now it cuts some of the low end from the OCD AND provides a larger volume boost than it did when it was driving the OCD. Stacking is a very inexact science (for me at least) so experimentation and luck seems to be key.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I dunno

I just don't use that much gain when stacking, usually I use more the volume than the gain knob to boost.

Same. I was actually fearing for my amps at one point the other day. Both my dirtboxes have a lot of output on tap, and I was using a lot of it. What a wallop!

If you have your BAT pedals set correctly (that is output volume past 3:00) it will sound like your amp is going into meltdown.
Don't stress. This is where the doom lives.
The best shows are those where it sounds like at any given point a whole stack could just burst into flames.
I'm citing every show I've seen Matt Pike play as a reference for this fact.
