The Sound City through my Emperor 2x12 loaded with two EVM-12L's and an Olde Crow 1x15 with a JBL D140.
The SVT goes through an 810.
Here's an older pic I'm pretty sure I've posted before:

That picture is totally save-worthy. Is that a stripped and finished Marshall checkerboard cab?

It is. It had original greenbacks when I got it but they were all blown. Traded them to Jim from Scumback Speakers for some of his and it sounds killer.revancha wrote:That picture is totally save-worthy. Is that a stripped and finished Marshall checkerboard cab?

Re: Let's see your AMP!
Been playing with this combo all day. This is the happiest I've been in a long time. 1966 Fender Super Reverb and a 65 Amps London 2x12. The Super Reverb is set clean with the reverb on, and the London is being used on the Vox channel with the bump switch on to get some grit to the sound. This combo is perfect for me.

already traded
clean wasn't full enough to allow me to run pedlolz infront and get the tones I want.
its already been traded for a 60s kalamazoo bass 30. sooo much cooler and more what im looking for. NMV and clean to take pedals.

Re: Let's see your AMP!

Finally got all of my amps together at once.
Never realized that I basically have just two brands (plus a Sunn head).

Well its 200w through two ported kappa 15s. The amp is based off of the Hiwatt DR201. It should keep up with the band pretty well.ChetMagongalo wrote:You playing bass through that? I haven't heard about bass with science stuff

Re: Let's see your AMP!
Was thinking about adding a Kappalite 15 to my 1x15 cab, how do you like them? I was also considering the Basslite as it is a bit cheaper and lighter.bronzetalon wrote:Well its 200w through two ported kappa 15s. The amp is based off of the Hiwatt DR201. Not much playing time with them yet. Ask me again in a month and I can give you a full review. This cab is very similar to two orange obc115 stacked on top of one another.Wes Mantooth wrote:Was thinking about adding a Kappalite 15 to my 1x15 cab, how do you like them? Picked up a Brand Spanking New OR15 for under 5hundo out the door a few weeks ago.
This amp sounds amazing. The only thing it lacks is super cleanliness; which fuck it.
Need to get an upgraded cab at some point but I'm putting money away towards some Atlas cabs to incorporate into my live bass rig (when I'm done it will be a 4x15/1x18/4x12).
