What is the song called?
I got lucky and got #2 on the ltd ed. lp box set. I'm not sure what song that clip is, I can find out. it was just something related to the records I was listening to at the time. Awesome awesome collection. The mars studio boxset is also worth owning.
They remind me of the Velvet Underground. Very lo-fi sounding too. What delay do you think he's using? Oh and I didn't know they did any studio recordings. Thought it was all live stuff.
I'm with you on the velvet underground vibe, I've always liked that about their sound.. I dont know bout the delay but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a Roland space echo tape delay or something from the roland/boss family that was current at the time. It's a righteous sound for sure. It might even be some natural echo/reverb from the venues we are hearing.

The mars studio 1980 recordings are the only live I know about but there may be more? Here is a great place that distributes their albums and alot of other obscure interesting gems.
