^It is! Holy shit, it can get really heavy (by my standards anyway). I also found out that the Great Destroyer and the LAL Super Oscillo is a match made in heaven. They seem to be a great match on any setting, from subtle fuzzdrive to oscillating, sputtering tremolosounds. Great stuff. Turning on the DB summons Satan. For the first time in a while I had to get my strap and play standing up, which is always a good sign.

Eivind: Pedal is cool as all hell. Can't wait to play with it
I need a bass and a midi keyboard so I can start recording for real. All these straight up guitar recordings are getting old.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Thanks. There are plenty on ebay that will ship. My only concerns are for the ones I see that are reasonably priced are often they are very old and who knows what condition the innards of these things are in. So, it is very possible if I buy one I will need to have some parts repaired. Which won't necessarily be the fault of the seller since they cannot or typically wouldn't access the stuff under the hood to know this. Oh well. I am sure I will come up with something.Hyphen Nation wrote:Jeez…Ugly Nora wrote:Yeah I checked craigslist, and there were only 4 in my local area. bagpipes are seriously drone worthy, and nothing under the hood to go badUgly Nora wrote:Oh well. I am sure I will come up with something.
I've been on the hunt for a hurdy gurdy for a couple years now, might DIY it eventually.

Yeah Ive looked into bagpipes, they are very expensive too. I am sure really hard to play also. And yes, I have looked into Hurdy Gurdy's as well. I think they are all like $3000+ bucks for a decent one. What am I rich?Uncle Grandfather wrote:bagpipes are seriously drone worthy, and nothing under the hood to go badUgly Nora wrote:Oh well.
