hahaha i was thinking the exact same thing. i think anyone who appreciates anime with some level of psychological depth would at least tolerate it though. it's incredibly well done.
as far as repetition goes, just avoid the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya. avoid it like the plague.

Tatami Galaxy is fantastic. It's repetitive in the way As I lay Dying is repetitive, so I don't think that counts.
Alternatively, you can watch The Eccentric Family. It's sort of by the Tatami Galaxy guy.

I would recommend you pretend the second season doesn't exist. or at least just the Endless Eight episodes.

Also the movie is fucking great. I liked the first season and thought they wouldn't top it but its probably even better.

yeah! Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita.
it's a pretty good series, interesting mix of cuteness and bleak/dark humour. one of my favourite main characters out of anything.
