I've been lurking around those broken Devis. Could be my chance to have a mega-droning thing made from the remnants.

I wonder how hard they could be to fix. Been wanting to practice my soldering/building skills.

Considering the low amount of parts, and the lack of mojo/hard to find components, I'd say zero hard.

Most of them are SMD tho? I was under the impression that it would be tough to work with.

I am so fucked...

I decided to buy an expression pedal on eBay. Although I won't have money in the bank til the weekend, I figured I'd Buy It and then send the $$ in a day or so.

On a whim, I clicked on the "BillMeLater" button and applied. I've been rejected in the past so I figured...

...but they approved me. I have to now try to forget about it, pretend it doesn't exist, strike it from memory...

I am so fucked...

From what I could tell, if they have nuts like an open frame jack it's probably regular through hole PCB, although they're wrapped in electrical tape. If they have the enclosed jacks with the black washer on the outside they'll most likely be SMD.

A lot of those are just enclosures with jacks, pots and a resistor and no circuit board, and some are just circuit boards. Looks like it was just her stock laying around or returns or who knows :idk:
