There's no hate for that here, we're not elitists. It's more that we respect what those two bands have done for the "scene" or "genre" in general. I personally have to be in hte mood to listen to either of those two bands. I prefer my music to be low, slow and sound like your drudging through a thousand dead bodies on the battlefield (conan / slomatics / bongripper), OR I like it to sound pissed off and stoned (bongzilla / dopethrone / weedeater). As those are pretty much the only two moods that make up my lifeBossk wrote:As I said. I intend to. You guys are gonna hate me here. But I dont care for either sleep or black sabbath.

But seriously Sleep (and associated family tree) are probably my gun-to-head favorite loud band(s) ever.

I'll give you a pass on Sleep. But not liking Sabbath is harder to forgive. But we can still be doombros

Haha as I said before im more into funeral doom amd drone. And neither tend to show any influence from sabbath at all. I hate ozzys vocals furthermore. I found the only sabbath to be stomached is heaven and hell.

There's a JCM900 Mark III on Nashville Craigslist right now and they sound extremely cool. Interested to hear your thoughts.
