Meh. SG Standards seem to be fairly plentiful in the $7-800 range, less if you hunt and/or get lucky. With the neck break and questionable pickup upgrades, I think that's priced high.

Speaker issues reported but could just be wiring. Worst case, replace the nothing-special square-back Eminence speakers with something cheap. No personal experience, but reviews I've seen of the 212 version say it's loud and clean with huge bass. I figure you might have your own fuzz to use with it.

He also says $150 for the Jet City 20 watt head in some of the pics. I'd buy any I had spare cash for at that price. Stock those sound nice enough for their thing, and very good mod platform.
