That's odd Tristan, On my end it works nicely with the Goatkeeper.
Let's see if this helps, I've taken a few (shitty middle of the night) pics. I've used the following settings as a starting point:

Warped Vinyl (front):
Volume set to max and everything else at noon.

Image

Warped Vinyl (back):
Volume (on)
Volume (rise)
Sweep (bottom)

Image

Goatkeeper:
Depth set to max
Square waveform
Simple sequence on the sequencer, nothin extreme to start with

Image

I also sync both using a few other devices but you can get close by simply using your thumbs :) , start with something not too fast.

With this simple settings I have a really nice sequence taking control of the volume and it should not be very subtle. Let some chords ring, try it with some harmonics too, then you can start modulating other parameters, changing your sequence, etc.  The sine on the Goatkeeper gives some amazing violin type sound, modulating the RPM and depth together is crazy good, going from chorus to vibrato by also modulating the Mix is nice too!

That gives a nice tremolo when modulating the volume indeed!
For the rest I think the combination with the Goatkeeper probably just doesn't sweep the low range enough for my tastes, I like my modulation to be really thick and throbby (TWSS) or very warbly and watery like, especially on more random type LFO's.
There's not many pedals that do it the way I like it (TWSS) so getting something like that from the Warped Vinyl + Goatkeeper combo would have been great but I wasn't counting on it really.
Overall I still really really like the Warped Vinyl, I'm going to have lots of fun with it! :)

That pedal is tits!
Tristian brought his one yesterday and this thing is a work of art! Super nice looking, awesome packing, features like crazy in a super small package and that dip swith assignment blew my mind. Soundwise it delivers on the same level.
Very high WANT-factor! But thank god i'm not that much into modulation and pretty set. Else i would have a hard time thinking about how to get that pedal NOW!

It is not noisy. Why would it be noisy? It's a very nice vibrato with a bunch of crazy modulation options on tap.

I second that, and it is also a superb chorus with all the subtle variations you can ever think of.
You can modulate pretty much every parameter, so you can sculpt any kind of sound you have in mind and if you add an an expression pedal, a sequencer with CV, a drum machine (MIDI), an envelope follower, pretty much anything really, you can create even more stuff. I love this thing.

Unfortunately I've listened to some demos. Cannot afford ATM. Do they still give money for plasma?

You are right, and it is an astute observation... there is noise / hiss. It is called "Warped Vinyl." :) It achieves the pitch vibrato using old school bucket brigade technology (like the BOSS VB-2) which have inherent noise.... but IMO, I did some clever things to make this pedal less noisy / hissy than other analog vibratos. In shallower depth settings, there is less noise/hiss because the microprocessor wiggles the bucket brigade in a place where it's the least noisy ... when the depth is very wide the noise level increases because it drives the bucket brigade to places where more noise is present. This can actually be a pretty cool effect though... sometimes sounds like the needle dropping on an LP when you implement a square edge into the vibrato shape.

On top of that, there's an optional "lo-fi" mode (a dip switch in the back) that makes that base wiggle spot (I realize this probably makes no sense) in a different spot which makes it more noisy and changes the aesthetic... for the crazy folken that want MORE noise :D

I also really paid close attention to the filtering / tone shaping before and after the bucket brigade to give it the tone I wanted and also to control the noise.

That all said, yes, there is some noise and hiss.... but I'm completely in love that shit. I'm addicted to analog and I love how it sounds. There's good digital options for vibrato / chorus out there for those that need really, really quiet rigs... but those are not for me. :)

Funny you guys started talking about noise.
A buddy of mine just tried it out and it was kinda unbearable dropped into his setup (weird enough he uses a GigRig Pro 14 and all the good stuff) but I don't hear it that much in my setup really and my buddy and I haven't really tried all the spots of his signal chain.
It seemed better when we tried it in another spot but the noise was still a bit steep though overall I don't think it's a noisy pedal.
