Most Dudebros like getting laid and partying.

So, you know, their tastes are not entirely without merit.

We just call it the "doom" room in the hope we might lure hipster girls there...into our rape vans....I mean vans of righteous wizarding.

Eyy Ben, just throwing it out there, but if you ever need someone vocally for something, I'm always avaible.

I do agree with ya though, y'all should try for airy Portishead vox with your stuff. It would fit nicely, got that kind of chill vibe from the new thang y'all did.

I mean, I can do airly, but a lady would probs be better.

SO I hung out with my oldest, bestest friend last night, he is a guitar tech that works out of Nashville so he tends to tour with Country artist (though he has worked with My Morning Jacket). He isn't crazy about country but it pays the bills. I have seen him with Hank Jr., Steve Earle and a few others (both of those shows were good). So now he is working with this guy Chris Young and they are touring with Brad Paisley (whom he has worked with before). Dudes, totally amazing show. I am not a pop country fan in the slightest but when dudes can really play, ya gotta respect that. All of the backup bands were so tight, you can tell a lot of these cats were/are rockers, it shows in flashes. For realz, Brad Paisley is an absolute shredder on guitar, he blew my mind, he covered Eruption/Hot for Teacher (lol) and killed it… This other song he was on his knees, laying back soloing like a beast on a raised platform with Captain America comics on the Screen behind him, it was pretty cool. But yeah it is cool seeing the inner workings of a tour this size, 18 Semitrucks and 18 tour busses, about 110 people on the road, AND THE FUCKING GEAR THESE DUDES HAVE IS UNBELIEVABLE. I was on stage during Brad Paisley's encore so I got to see what it's like to be on stage in front of 20,000 people, pretty awesome. I always kind of dread going to these shows to see my buddy but usually they are better than I expect and this one delivered.

A couple musicians that I went to college with/met during college moved to Nashville. They're still working their way up the ranks, but they're already paying their bills playing their instruments and I'm crazy respectful of that. I also don't care for the modern country, but if the price was right I'd play it all day long.

I'm not gonna lie, I dig on Brad Paisley the person, less so on his music. He's pretty badass, and some of his stuff is really talented. A buddy of mine has played his album "Play" or whatever it is for me a few times. It's catchy stuff. I feel like he just does county because it's fun for him, and I can respect that.

I can't listen to country. At all. Everytime I hear it, it's like a nail being driven into my skull. I get facial tics if I'm forced to listen to it for any length of time.

There are some days at work where I have to listen to it for 11 hours straight. I begin staring longingly at the knives after 15 minutes.
