Granted, it's the older version but still sounds incredible. He had the angelbaby listed separately (stupid I know) which already sold.

A black one went for $800 late last year, kinda kicking myself for not jumping on it. But, whatever. I'm on the list for a new one, and I'd rather give Ed the money anyhow, because his customer service rocks. I was pretty shocked that I spent $450 on a Halophaze (hooray for sales tax!), but god dammit if that sumbitch isn't the absolute BOOBS in a band mix. So fucking good.
I now have a Vault as well and at home I really wasn't impressed, and then in my prog/metal band it was a little disappointing, but finally in my doom/thing holy SHIT that thing doth rule. It broke stuff in our practice garage, making my guitarist very happy. It loved to happen.
In other bassfuzznews, I got a new Depth Charge last week, and, throwing caution to the wind by trying it on a gig before dicking around with it at practice, all I can say is:

Finally a fuzz that rules as much as a Malekko B:Assmaster. Very, very impressed with that thing. I had one years ago but sold it before using it at rehearsal, which was a stupid, stupid thing. I compared it to my Attack Goat at the time, and since they sounded similar enough, combined with the Goat never quite "doing" it for me in a full band context, I ditched it. Looking back, I now see the error of my ways.
I'm pretty much replying to several pages ago, but I do that frequently, so steady as she goes, as it were.
