So got my six string in today! That pic wasn't mine obviously (it had a guitar in there fellas!!!). Anyway, it sound soooooooooo fucking good! I love having the 6th string!!! Thought I would hate it. Instant love for it though! I will say stretching across the board is a bit of a challenge though. The neck is sooooooooooo wide. It's in a desperate need of a truss rod adjustment too. Not sure why homie wouldn't have done that? Oh well. I think I made out like a bandit on the trade too. I've seen 96 Fbass BN6's go for 3000 bucks easy. Low end I'd get 2800 if I decided to sell it ever.

It sounds awesome though and is actually light as fuck. Maybe I'm just strong though.

Man I wish that deal would have gone through for that 6 string Dingwall on TB a few months ago...

I personally have a hard time with the 6 string too haha. 5 is just right for me

I've got huge hands. Some 4-stringers, especially with J-bass necks, feel really small to me, and I find that I have a hard time playing really busy basslines on them.

I have small hands too. I cut my burgers in half to make them more manageable. Sometimes. Sometimes I'll just grab that baby with both hands and force it to behave.

I bounce between 4 & 5ers, but I really want a 6 string as my next bass.

Dude. It's pretty awesome. The only problem is that my fucking wrists are bitches and ache from playing. So It's going to take a LOT of getting used to. I wonder how the scale difference is on other 6er's. This ones 34.5, which isn't bad, but the neck is just soooooooooooo fucking wide at the bottom. No way I can reach across that board, luckily, I never really need to.

I have this irrational GAS as well for a Fodera bass. I know, I know! God damn it. I just want to try every high end bass out there. Fodera has some models I could afford later down the road, so we'll see. I'd love to try a Ying Yang or a even an NYC.

Dustin, I like it, but the squealing parts had my ears squealing. I think you could easily change that a bit and turn it into some kind of house music.

No bass. I will record with the bass soon, I am getting an audio interface for the iPad this week.

The squealing was either resonance getting cranked on a filter or gain on the reverb. I like the squeals though.
