My hard drive decided to, like, erase itself so hard that it wants to be formatted before being used in any way. I'm still checking out what I can do to possibly fix it 'cause this kind of thing has happened before (with other drives), but still...I don't give a shit about any of the programs that were on there, but 40 gigs of pictures and 120 of music gone? Fuck. I'm never gonna see half of that shit again. And I'm too retarded to have backed that drive up.

I didn't even have any crazy porn on that one. Not too crazy anyway.

I know that Drive Genius and Disk Warrior are two very popular OS X data recovery programs if you're willing to spend approximately 100$.

Fucking nasty ass storm. If I had gotten my lazy ass out of bed 15 minutes earlier I'd have gotten ahead of it and already be where I'm going. Instead I'm parked in waukesha halfway to Milwaukee and Im missing the film I wanted to see this festival.

But I was able to make it to one of my favorite gyros places, and they serve beer which might be nice for my nerves. I hate hate HATE driving in the rain.

I tried Hiren's Boot CD, which contains a ton of diagnostic programs and is what I used to revive the last one, but it doesn't even seem to recognize that I have a hard drive in there. Doesn't even appear in the BIOS.
The hard drive shows up when I connect it to another computer, but it appears totally empty.
I have zero spending money right now, so I'm using my mom's PC and it's alright for ILF and stuff.
