Thought aboot it, but it'd require more stuff on my board, plus it'd EQ the clean part of that signal as well, unless I ran a splitter of some sort right before it, and then we're going down the rabbit hole of looney toonz behavior just to get that effect. I guess I need a better delay...AxAxSxS wrote:put it in a seperate loop with an eq/blender?

Yeah, if I put the delay at full wet, then ran it into an EQ, and put those 2 into the effects loop and blended that in, then I could get that effect, but those X-Blenders cost as much as a delay pedal that will do what I want. And I'm unemployed soooo....
thanks for the ideas though!

I'm drinking wine with cough syrup in it trying to get my voice back. I don't think its working. Hell of a buzz though. You know, coffe is why I never got into coke that much. I mean I've looked for rock on a carpet before, but afterwards I was like, "I could have had a triple shot mocha and I wouldn't be jonesin right now"
My wife gets nuts when she has to much coffee.
NyQuil is supposed to make ya sleepy right? Not working as advertised.
Seriously though. I'm glad I know ( or know of) you guys. My life is better for it.
I LOVE YOU MAN!
I'm not drunk.
ok, maybe alittle.

True dat. Although, it does do dark grainy really well. At least the one I had did.John wrote:Only thing I wish was different about them is the tone knob. Fuck, what was that called?
Yeah, those tanks were gonna be world enders. Til Ze Germans ran out of fuel cause the Russians tied em up all winter.
Edit: I was wrong. It was Stacey Keach in Roadgames (1981).
Those mother fuckers look real alike, though.

Still looks baked!
Above and beyond talking with you guys, I'm glad I'm still up. Watching this thing on Smithsonian channels about the "Folkways" collection. Indy folk label collection that was huge and is now owned by the Smithsonian. 2200 albums plus tons of undocumented material. Recordings of Rain on a roof, weird shit. Why should we care?
It sounds like it set a precedent and they are adding to the collection when they can by acquiring material from labels that are failing or disappearing. it's become about preserving music that would otherwise be lost.
I dunno, I think that's pretty cool.
