Unreal.

ugh. once again, i'm too broke to pay my fucking bills, which are very high this month. and my fucking business partner made a huge accounting blunder which has cost me a lot of money. just when i thought things were getting on track. anyway, i'm quitting this fucking business and doing something else. meanwhile, the little bit of gear i have left that isn't absolutely essential is up for sale. if anyone's interested in my dr scientist elements hit me up. $185, in great condition with original box (i think, if i can find it) has velcro but i use it opposite to how most folks do. original alchemy finish. also probably selling my wobo ab/y. i think the company might be out of business, but it's a nice active ab/y with a ground lift. $50. i don't have paypal, but if you're not local i can figure something out, like paypal to my girlfriend or something. if you are local, i also have a pile of unloaded cool bass cabs for sale.

I haven't been posting as much but I have been trying to keep up when I can reading everyone's posts.

I figure I can share what I have been up to though. My band has started recording for our first proper album. We have a few songs done on drums but a few more to go. In case you are interested here is a pic:

I got a quick look at them and bought the Monolith 4x12, they all appeared to be in new, unfinished condition. Very high build quality and materials. He can fill you in on what each needs to be finished.

we can text or something about the details. but basically, they're all unfinished to varying degrees. made and abandoned by monolith cabs at his old wood shop. pretty much finished is a repro of a sunn 200s 2x15. imitation emperor finish a bit scratched. cool cab though.

there's also a repro of an acoustic 301, or whatever it was. the 1x18 they made with the rear facing 18 with a double folded horn design. AxAxSxS traded me an 18 from one of the original acoustic cabs to load it with, but as of now it is not yet tolexed and doesn't have any kind of casters or handles or grill cloth.

also, i have a monolith original. a BLKARM, which is a 2x15 and 2x10 in one enclosure. it's tolexed, but has no handles, feet, wiring or jack plate, or grill cloth panel.

they're all nice fancy pants 3/4" birch ply new cabs that need to be finished.

for you, i'll give you a deal and kiss you on the face if you come get them in person.

Anyone know if this is doable?

Thank you, sir!
I've only heard the AD30. And from what I understand its got a different preamp structure (?).
I liked it, but I think the TH series is more chugga, less wool.

thanks...thats what i suspected...i hate chugga chugga...it's a shame that everything we look for in an amp is at polar opposite to what the mainstream manufacturers are churning out!

i wonder what would happen if i re-biased a TH30 with 6L6 or EL34's...

I can never keep up with this thread.
so 40 pages ago I asked about feedback and sustain problems.
it really is just the Orange head and the Orange cab (V30) dimed that gives me feedback problems. Haven't found a work around aside from plugging into my Fane 2x12 cab instead. Thanks.

anyone here have a BK warpig pickup?

IDK, dude. A 30-watt amp isn't really enough, IMO.

Could there maybe be a short of some sort in the cabinet or maybe the cab is just really susceptible to feedback?!?! thats weird bro.

I've had one, definitely one of my favorite pickups ever and whenever I finally get an SG or reasonable clone there of I plan on getting a Warpig in the bridge with a pig90 in the neck. Such a heavenly combo.
