Yes, totally. The switches are set up in scale, higher the number=deeper and wider sweep. With all the switches down you have no sweep at all while with all the switches up you get a very weird sound, incredibly deep, like a bass guitar with a wah pedal with no treble or presence.

Swapping with a friend tomorrow and picking up a PH-3, DD-3, and whatever odds and ends he has lying around. I have the weirdest urge to collect all the Boss digital delays, as I am quite enjoying the DD-5 I got yesterday. I put it in front of my Geiger Counter Civilian Issue, turned it to Reverse mode, and made quite a racket.
