Any idea when you will be doing preorder for those? Or is the VT still a case by case thing. I'm really impressed with Tony's Wizard Fuzz, but I have 5 fuzzes on my board allready and want some more divergent tone options.

Hooray but bummed football season is done. Hard loss for my team tonight. Luckily got away from the game relatively unscathed, excluding one kid who always acts like he's been shot when he's hurt. (hes fine it's just a bone bruise, love him to death) Had new Red Fang stuck in my head all day which made things bitchin' rad.

And we're going straight into basketball games tomorrow night. WOO WINTER IS COMIGN.

Mine is super tight in certain settings. Don't be afraid to fuck with the controls in weird ways. It's an unruly beast and doesn't sound its best with everything in the middle or at 12. Keep the gain low, like really low, and you'll find it can be tight. The more you increase the distortion the fuzzier it gets. I think of it as a blend between distortion and fuzz. I'm considering selling mine and replacing it either with a Dunwich Volt Thrower, if NIck can build it in a small enough enclosure, or an Acid Age Acid Pig.

I do owe it quite a bit more time before I decide if I want to keep it or not. I used it to boost my Blackstar earlier, and holy shit it was great. Unfortunately, it's pretty much exactly how my Mastortion boosts it. I've always read about how good Rats are as boosts, and I am definitely a believer now. I will try what you suggest and keep the gain really low and see if I can find dem toanz.

Yeah, my old RAT was excellent at boosting an amp, but I decided to try and perfect it and tested other variations on the RAT. I'm still searching for that 'perfect' one.
