Ben you should do what will enable you to have the most fun and make you the most comfortable live. The audience probably can't hear the difference but in my opinion you it's not about them it's about your band. I think the audience is ideally there to enjoy your music, and if your music is not on your terms then uhm hello wake up!!

yah. i agree with all that.

and like, i guess diminishing returns is the best description? after you grt to 90% of a sound, that extra 10% all of us nerds obsess over doesn't come across live. even to other nerds.

i am doing the whole I'll Miss You I Always Looooved You M9 to Strymy switch up for ease of use/board layout issues. so.... yep. if i can get mostly there with a Mobby that's gonna be nice to have the extra space.

Elements Incoming. Trading Ryan up in Canada Eh an Atoner/Sweptoner that while it is cool; it's not really needed in my repertoire these days.

I gotta say fuck that to no one will know the difference, that does not apply to everything, across the board. I have had plenty of people comment on my tone, saying they have never heard a bass sound so punchy and upfront in the mix yet be fuzzed out. It isn't like they were saying, oh that TAFM>B7K combo slayed that other dudes Sansamp but that is what they meant. As far as modulation, there is some diminishing returns at some point but still, if I am using a phaser like the Moog one where I can control a lot of parameters vs a Boss PS-2, the audience would be able to tell a difference.

Nice trade Warwickah. The Elements is so GOOD.

lol. well, yeah. i'm not talking about ditching the Faye for a Mooer. but if i can get 90% there with a good multi like the Strymy, yesh please.

urg. so.... also trying to get a BEF wobble wubble patch with the HH into the H9. kinda? it'll follow the HH mostly but turns a bit mushy electronic noise when you move too fast. HURM.

lol. think i bought the wrong filter algo too. the Q-Wah has more settings. DURP.

Dude Elements + Atoner are absolutely indistinguishable in a mix. You know why?

'cause most clubs mic your shit anyway.

Seriously.

Of all the rules that TB has they are lacking one* and that's what makes that place suck.

*Don't be an asshole.

Literally no think before you post filter on some of these people.
