There is a green Matamp in the spam thread. Looks pretty sexy but I dunno much about them so I dunno if its a good price or if it is a sought after model for doom stuffs.

that's you? nice shooting. that looks really fun. i've considered getting involved in some kind of legit competition shooting where you get to do cool courses like that, but i never have. i just go out boring old target shooting. i'd be a better shot if i did more stuff like that though. these days i've been more into 3-400 yard rifle shooting. also, it's been impossible to get handgun ammo around here recently, so there's that.

Now I just need an enclosure. Time to start buying wood and figureing out how I want to do it. I want massive folded horn But i dont want the thing to be prohibitively huge. I have the drawings of the Earthquake cabs but I've also seen some more modern designs that looks like they would be more practical.

Haven't been in here in a hot minute, what's up fellas? I've been busy with fucking Calculus and C++ classes on top of other shit, just fucking kill me already.

Parker, sorry to hear about your dog, had to pour some beer out for that.

Peter, that shit sounds so killer man, great job!

Nice shootin Flunky!

Ax finally got hisself a 189E eh? Can't wait to see the cab that's gonna house that beast.

I'm sure ryan's here somewhere writing some awesome shit as usual so howdy to him too.

I miss you guys, I miss playing guitar, and I miss sweet sweet gear talk so I'll try and get in here more often.

Shit, I just realized Darren's tour is coming up too, I guess I'll shot him a text and see if he needs anything.

Also, anyone anywhere near SLO should go check out the Bloodmoon show with Agalloch, Peter's band rips and that show is going to be so worth it.

I guess I'm off to crank my Dunwich, see if you guys can hear it!

Indeed it is I!
I just got into the sport this last Dec. I am a mid "C-Class" shooter at the moment and I hope to jump up to a B class before the year is over. Then its A, M and Gm after that!!! The best thing you could do is just to get a decent hand gun, holster, mag pouches and some extra mags and just get out there and shoot a match man. I was really apprehensive at first but now i cant get enough of it. I even started loading my own ammo.
My next thing will be to get a decent Semi Auto shotty so i can start shooting some shotgun competitions. I am also planning on buying a stripped lower for an AR-15 build that i will slowly start getting together in hopes to have done in 2 or 3 years. Then its off to 3 gun competitions!

Check out the site for USPSA http://uspsa.org/ you can look up ranges in your area that hold monthly matches. Best thing you could do is just go up there and have some fun. Everyone (to my surprise) was extremely helpful and friendly to me when i first started.

Nice shooting. I used to have a little setup similar to that in my parents back field. I haven't been able to shoot there anymore because the new neighbors are dicks. If you thought that guitars amps and pedals were draining on your wallet, just wait until you get into building an AR15. I finally settled on mine after going through all kinds of shit. I keep the Eotech on it for daytime hog hunting, and I have a first generation nightvision scope that I got awhile back for night time hunts (although I haven't got to go on one yet).

damn that is one badass AR! I can't wait until i can start building my own. It will be more geared competition than hunting tho. So it'll have like a 1x6 or 1x4 scope then some 45degree iron sights. Long hand guard without rails. I dont even want to start thinking about it! haha. First thing tho, im getting a Stoeger M3500 shotty, now that the patents have expired that Benelli was holding, there are great clones starting to come out for half the price of say an Benelli M2.

Where do you go hog hunting at? I've been wanting to try my hand at that. But ive never been hunting in my life.

Thanks. I go on the WMA out here. That place is overrun with them. All of the land out here is pretty bushy and there isn't many places that are over 300 yards so a 1 x 4 scope is all I have ever needed. I have a 3 x magnifier for my AR too and it is plenty. I'll have to check out the Stoeger. I've always wanted a Benelli but I always blew my money on gear instead. I have had two Mossberg 500s that I got for my 12 and 13th birthdays and they have never failed yet.
