I am so so psyched for that game to drop. It seems to be shaping up real nice, and with nobody holding them to a strict release schedule hopefully it can be really polished.
Shit looks gooood, I read October 2013 release but I don't know how true that is.
Only thing i've seen missing on demo's is a VAC system and it would be nice if it could be a one member thing instead of team, otherwise, spot on, looks just like the 'lost' fallout 3 if you played the demo.
Yeah seems like they're really getting along with it. From the last few updates october this year does not sound likely, but it shouldn't be too long! You backing the Obsidian one too? I have high hopes for that as well, can't get enough of that old-school isometric style, and also games companies I love making games with their own IP and full control.
Finally tracked one down. I haven't been able to get into any of the other DS and GBA ones (aside from FireRed). I normally don't get off on reboots, but S/G/C are probably the best versions.
iiiiiii.... don't really game online. i did a buttload with CoD the first 3 or 4 releases, super wasn't into it last version. actually thinking about not paying for the Gold XBL Account when this year's worth is up. i only keep it so my little brother can play CoD when it comes out.
so, i dunno. never played it with other peoples. i adore the single player. SO MUCH.

i could get the first one for next to nothing so would be nice to know if it's a big upgrade in the sequel in terms of online play

That game IS awesome. I'm really bad at it but it was fun while I played. Something about the tank-style controls but also having to watch the throttle fucks with me, I'm always running into walls and teammates. I first played Mechwarrior 2 when I was little and it took me half an hour to figure out how to stop the thing once it got moving...
I tend to like matches where each player on a team only gets one life, but due to the playstyle those games tend to have as a whole, I'm slower and more methodical than my teammates so I usually end up being the last/one of the last people alive, and then I'm usually fucked. But if I rush in with my teammates I get slaughtered 'cause I can't deal with run-and-gun in games like that.
It works just fine in games where you respawn, but

Borderlands 2 is pretty great on XBL. Multiplayer is where that game shines. That said, it isn't much different from the first one. They're both great games, though. Tons of hours of gameplay.
Been playing Dark Souls....again. I just love this game so much. Invading other peoples games and dueling them is the best. Can't fucking wait for the sequel to drop in March.
