For me, the only reason for different basses is distinct tones. My G&L can do a lot of different sounds, but it can't do the Ric tone. That's why I have those two. The only other bass I own is my Squier Jag, which is my backup/practice bass, but it's a cheapie. Plus it can do the p-bass sound, which I don't normally have a need for, but it's nice to have

Why do you have multiple fuzz pedals, or delay pedals or multiples of your multiples? Having different options available is nice. And since they're cracking down hard on hookers and blow these days, what else is one gonna spend money on?

Why do you have multiple fuzz pedals, or delay pedals or multiples of your multiples? Having different options available is nice. And since they're cracking down hard on hookers and blow these days, what else is one gonna spend money on?

but... but fuzzes are CHEAPAH. i can still afford Trannie Abs (the affectionate nickname of the lady boy that works a corner in Oakland we had to drive by to practice all the time. no matter how cold, she always wore a midriff-baring outfit. because DAMNIT that many crunches should ALWAYS be on display.) and cheap blow.
