I am on the market for a ring mod. I was about to pull the trigger on a Hax, but this happened. I like how musical this sounds; I feel like it will inspire my playing so much.

You can never have enough ring modulators, but I'd say wait it out until this is released.
Whenever my middle school art teacher saw me working on something and said it was "interesting" I already knew i was going to get an F
But yeah, the basic idea behind this has been brewing for a long time. It goes back at least to the old fmbot prototypes, but other inspirations go back even further like watching too much sci-fi when i was a kid. Dr who especially. Tom and I were talking when we decided to scrap our ringmod/delay/dalekdancepartypedal. We brought this back from some earlier ideas where we just didn't feel like we had a useful control scheme worked out.
That video was actually not supposed to be listed yet. I fucked something up apparently.
Haha, nah I meant interesting in the usual sense of the word - I mean, how often do you get to see what you are hearing on a scope? And the explanation of what you were seeing was really helpful as well - instead of being a token "look guys, we're using TECHNOLOGY you plebs". You woulda got at least an A- on that video.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
