lol. i.... do. just. ugh. i've already spent more than i should have lately. it's gonna be about $3 g's for my eyeballs an $2.5 for another Dinger. i've about got the eyeball monies set aside, need to at least get the $900 it'll be to start the Dinger. REALLY want to have both those done/started by the beginning of next month.

yah. i thought it was down to about a $1000 now, but last time i had an exam and talked to a place or two it was around $3000 for Wavefront. i have a tiny astigmatism in one eye, and i've been told they should go a bit better than 20/20 with Wavefront.

gotsta shop around a bit, but i'll be surprised if can get it done for much less than $3 g's.

wooooorrrrth it though. so damn tired of glasses/contacts.

My wife had laser eye surgery about 7 or 8 years ago, but because of how thin her corneas were, she had to have LASEK, which is apparently a different procedure from LASIK, and also happened to be 3 times the price (it was around 4K). But it was totally worth it, her eyes are better than mine now. Her vision is easily better than 20/20.

i actually yakked for the first time in maybe 5 years last night. i think i got some food poisoning at breakfast, started getting all dizzy during a bass lesson, grabbed a mozzarella and tomato sammich after 'cause i thought i was low blood sugar, got home and was dying. every time i moved i couldn't focus on anything and i'd almost fall down. finally felt my stomach totally rebel and yakked up every last bite of that sammich.

01) it's been so long since i had the half hour long stomach clenching horror of puking out my mouth and nose. interesting experience. forgot how out of control one's body can feel.

02) nooooooot interested in eating any fresh mozzarella any time soon.

03) i fucking LOVED the dizzy spells. i was playing around trying to fling myself around and stay RIGHT on the edge of passing out. shits was FUN.
