you want instead to move to Alameda if you're gonna be in the East Bay. or Berkeley if you're adventurous. the EB south of Oakland is rather verscheisstige.

lol. Hayward's not the worst, i'm just more biased to Berkeley and Oakland. Alameda is nicr and mellow, it's kinda quiet and throwback old timey though. like, yeah, people will actually say hi on the street, but it's a LOT of white people and i can see having a place and being a bit loud being a huhe problem.

Oakland is either really nice or kinda-super ghetto, oddly enough within 2 blocks of each other. Berkeley os mostly really cool. they're both prett espensive though unless you're in the hood. staying some place like El Cerrito or Richmond on the hills where it's reasonable rent but only a 10 minute drive to the good restaurants and fun shits in Berkeley or Oakland? YESH PLEASE.

I've lived here for half my life. I really do love it here, but I feel like change in scenery would be good for me and the fam. Majority of my wife's family lives down there, too. It'd be nice for my son to have more face time with that side other than the annual visits.
