God damn tendinitis is acting up again! FUCK! I played for less than 20 minutes last night and I was in pain. Sucks ass! Anyone have a good strap recommendation? I know one of you all had said something about that helping. Although I don't wear my bass low, I'm willing to try anything.

i'm sorry meng. that sounds awful. playing music has been the one thing since i was a kid that always brought me happiness or something i could do to make shitty stuff in my life feel smaller or less consequential. i can't imagine it causing me pain.

on a positive note - 'm on my way to my lessons with this guy that is AMAZING. great teacher as well as fantastic player too.

i am ESCITE. i might actually learn a little about playing bass. woo!

I had some minor tendinitis for a while, when I get home from work I'll link the stretching exercises I did, they helped.

On an unrelated note, I really want a Jag bass. One of the Fender ones. I think I"ll put my jazz on the block for it.

f'REALZ.

ugh. he just WRECKED ME. so damn good. we only did about 5 exercises over an hour lesson, a tiny bit of theory. but he spent some time watching me play and went over the 3 or 4 things i do that are wasting having big hands. these angry exercises that just wore me out because it's tiny muscles i don't use correctly and i go too fast.

WOOT. so happy to have someone to learn from. yay!
