I use a PS-5, but only to run through fuzz cuz it don't sound that good clean

um..... lol. i can't actually think of an octave up that sounds good. i none really sound natural to me? the Bass Whammy is pretty awesome from what i've heard Lightning Bolt do with it, but i've never had one. i like the M9's, but i use it as a weird odd sounding noise thing.

oh! Pitch Factor is really cool. but yah. not very natural sounding to me.

Yeah, octave up always seems to sound like an effect, whereas octave down can get a little more natural. I love the sound of the Organizer's octave up, but it's definitely its own sound. Likewise with the Pearl clone I used and the POG2.

I use the XP-100's whammy for all of my octave up. I think it sounds tits (it can do the Lightning Bolt thing no problem, you don't need the bass whammy specifically for that), but it's definitely not natural sounding. But that was never my goal, anyways, so I never cared.
