i think it would be wise for mister duck, be it scrooge mc, darkwing, daffy or luck, to come talk with us. we are a wonderful group of fuzz loving people and i think we wouldnt attack him if he actually came to us and explained this situation. if his lady really did act on her own accord, and he had nothing to do with it, and he took advice from Samuel L and told that bitch be cool, he could go a long way toward growing his brand in the future.

theres nothing to explain, though. he did some stuff that was really wrong on purpose. it wasnt like he accidentally hit a button on his computer that sneakily adds a refund policy after the fact so he can screw someone out of a refund they have a right to.

then when he realized he was caught and couldnt get away with it, he finally refunded the full amount.

the only thing he could do would be to come admit that he purposely tried to screw behndy out of his refund and apologize without making excuses. then he MIGHT be able to save what shred of dignity he and his company have left.

as far as the "my gf posted it wasnt me blah blah" i call bullcaca. shes a representative of your company if she posts on your site and is allowed to do so normally/has access.

If his girlfriend is working for or representing his company, she's just as responsible for brand image as he is. Now, I personally call passive-aggressive bullshit on the girlfriend sidestep, but even if that was the case, its not like that somehow makes it ok. First the guy misspoke, then he misrepresented, and mixed in there were some confirmed lies. I'm hard pressed to see why suddenly now the pattern would change. Obvious jerk is obvious.

I wouldn't take any of it down. Its on him (and her, and anyone else in their flock) to deal with the facts at hand and make them right. Its another one of those business and interpersonal skills that he/they will need to have in order to be successful, so why should we get in the way of opportunities for their development?

He won't be chiming in. When he registered as Luck Duck from the same IP address, I banned him at that point.

He could claim it was his roommate or girlfriend on his computer, but I doubt he can say he didn't know that someone (I'd bet Duck himself) was using his computer to pose as a customer/fan, calling Behndy and others in this thread trolls, douches, liars......and shortly after, Duck was telling Behndy, sorry, that it was broken, he was going to refund, just get the thread taken down...

Combining that with adding a no-returns policy to his website to win a PayPal Dispute, and then--after getting exposed--admitting that it was broken, so Behndy had a claim after all.

It's BS, and if that's not bannable, I don't know what is. If he wants to defend himself at this point, he can post it on his Facebook page or something.
