Thanks dudes! Last night we went to dinner with some noise friends in RVA, this morning I met up with another noise friend who is a tattoo artist and got a honeymoon tattoo cause we gave ourselves a little bit of fun money out of the presents we got.

Just left the tattoo shop and headed down to South Carolina to Myrtle Beach for a few days, then up to OBX and then home!!

We had a blast in SC. Laid out on the beach for two hours on Wednesday which was nice and relaxing. My lady got some pretty bad sunburn when her bathing suit shifted but she has been taking care of it. First time we laid out on the beach for an extended period of time

Thursday we spent 8 hours driving from South Carolina to OBX. 64 was closed at a certain spot, so a detour took us an hour and a half south and we almost ran out of gas, but came across this ancient gas station where we were able to get gas right before we were going to run out

Drove on some gnarly back roads with not one but two GPS systems that had no clue where we were- just followed signs and at one point didn't see another car for at least an hour. We drove through some really secluded areas that were kind of poignant to drive through but it was beautiful at the same time. Finally made it to OBX around 8pm yesterday

Ate at our favorite restaurant last night, 10oz fillet with crab meat on top of a bed of smashed potatoes and asapargus

Today we slept in as much as we could, then got out of bed and went to the Weeping Radish butchery brewery and restaurant which was pretty awesome. Lounged around the hotel room most of the day since it was drizzling, but we were able to relax in the hot tub in the room for a good hour while watching food network

Going to go back home tomorrow, stop in Richmond for dinner on the way to break up the drive

Didn't really think about pedals at all until today, it kind of ruled

Got home about 7 tonight. We had to make a pit stop in Richmond to eat our favorite tacos and break up the drive a bit. Also stopped and got a new pillow because we accidentally left mine in South Carolina. Was relaxing as hell, the whole week.

Tonight I tinkered around with gear while the lady looked over paperwork for her benefits for her new job. Tomorrow we're going to straighten up the house since we were gone a week.

All in all, awesome time.

So we're in North Carolina, we fall asleep pretty early watching MSNBC Jail Stories (a North Carolina tradition of sorts for us) and at 7AM the alarm goes off out of NOWHERE, on my wife's side of the bed. She grabs the alarm clock, yanks the chord out of the wall, and drops it, all in one fell swoop while still half asleep. It was GOLDEN.
