Borrowing a golden cij jazzmaster, that Im pretty sure I´ll buy saturday. Any Cij owners with any tips?
Already own a 62 reissue american jazzmaster wich I love more than any other guitar. So it just makes sense to own another one.
Will probably change pickups and tremolo though.

NOT TREMOLO, VIBRATO.

Sorry, li'l gear/physics pet peeve there.
I have a red CIJ JM and my tips would be SD Antiquity Jazz pickups and a Mastery Bridge. I haven't needed to replace the vibrato assembly, but it depends on what you're going for, I guess.

Haha.

Well yes thats my exact plan execpt for changing the VIBRATO as well.
But if I am able to wait a month I can afford another american one, so still a bit on the fence.

I decided to wait a couple of weeks and buy another american one instead.
I did not find it to be as good as my US one.

but the man uses like 20" cymbals for his hi hats. i guess he had some custom ones made one time then said fuck it and just uses rides. for hi hats. so

EEP.

I've always enjoyed larger hi-hats - sometimes much larger hi-hats like Thomas uses. Personally I wouldn't go larger than 18" crashes as hi-hats but he really lives on the slushy hat sound, and 20" makes sense. I need a little more crispness, so I tend to stick around 16" hats (which are really just crashes I don't use as crashes at this point for me - maybe I'll get some of Zildjian's Light K Hats down the line... those are majestic).

I want some mega hats. I was a 15" guy but have been playing some fusionesque things so I have had 13's for over a year. I think Sabian may be releasing some 16's that look gnarly. Chris Dave's hats are badass too, I think it's like an ozone 16 or 18" on the same size crash bottom. BIG swooshy melty and so deliciously fat.

Got my Vox NT50 Tuesday, played it a grand total of three times before it developed an INSANELY LOUD popping when turning the MV knob. Tubes glowing bright orange. Fuck this shit. Back you go! Not trifling with another defective Chinese amp.

On the plus side, Ditto Looper incoming. :)*

ugh. i don't want to spend $700 but i want a second ipad. makes sense since i have the last one they did with the old school dock now to get the lightning port (don't even get me started on the level of assholeness it takes to NOT USE THE MICRO USB EVERYBODY ELSE DOES. asses.) so if a newer dock or better hardware come out i'm future proofed.

uff. think i'm going to sell my Mobius. it's AWESOME. but i don't have board room for it. they're $450 right? are they still back ordered?

lol. also, i've never spent any time on TGP. i've had an account for a few years, but have like 2 posts. both in B/S/T threads. should i find someone else to list for me? or would they care?

I don't think so. There are a lot of guys that have accounts just to buy/sell/trade. I managed to sell a bunch of pedals over there even though I had just signed up at the time. I think the price and popularity of your pedal matters more than your post count...and strymon stuff always sells like hot cakes over there
