The SLs has mostly been a recording project, but we're shifting into making it more of a proper "band". Finally made some decent demos (mostly live, minor vocal + synth overdubs) that actually reflect what the band sounds like: http://thestevenlasombras.bandcamp.com/album/2013-demos I think they turned out pretty well, and it was a good exercise working (relatively) quickly instead of taking a year to edit and layer on noise...

GEAR DETAILS
Guitar rig on the left is an old Teisco > DE:FX Silver Rose > Boss OC3 > Boss DD6 > Boss DS1 > Fender Bassman 10.
Guitar rig on the right is EGC Standard > Driving Notion > Bit Mangler > EHX POG2 > EHX Freeze > Moog MF104Z > Orange Dual Terror
Bass synth is Moog Minitaur
Pretty much all the voice is through a Boss ODB3 and an El Capistan
KRUDLER on Bandcamp for all your noise rock & cinematic synth needs
TOTHENECK on Instagram for recording snippets, artwork, etc.

:hello:
Track I built up with my microkorg xl, and reason. Some bass and guitar, but all with reason effects, no boxes. Preemptive thanks for listening.

Got a mic stand tonight, so I was able to position it in the proper location for recording. This is my first test:

ARC Gamut -> Madbean Egghead Overdrive -> EA Super Collider -> Eventide Timefactor -> TC Trinity Reverb -> Out 1 to Verellen stack with kickdrum mic, Out 2 to Epi Valve Junior with 60's Vocal Mic

Thanks dude :D

Just fooling around with that one, but I really really dig the direct recordings without post production!
