Geez. I went to Allman Brothers shows as a kid with my folks but the first show I bought tickets to was either ACDC on the Razor's Edge Tour, SoundGarden (BadMotorFinger) and Guns n Roses (Use your Illusions), or Prong and OZZY(No More Tears). All of these took place pretty close together. I remember seeing lots of titties when GnR played. Around the same time I started getting into some club shows (I was 13 or so) and I lived in Tampa so I was seeing Morbid Angel and Obituary, etc. Fucking Brutal. I saw GWAR at a club and that was sweet too. Lots of shows when I was 13 and 14, all kind of a jumble.

I saw this tour in Seattle except it was Stone Temple Pilots/Butthole Surfers/fIREHOSE. Fun show although IMO the Buttholes were already past their best work, the highlight of the night was Gibby introducing the next band. "Stick around, Stone Pimple Toilets are up next."
My first concert was goth-rock band The Mission U.K./Soundgarden in '88. Soundgarden blew my mind as a kid, and living in Seattle it opened my mind to the local music scene at the time, after this show I started going to shows at least 3-4 times a month.
I went to a bunch with my dad when I was little. The only one I remember was Lynyrd Skynyrd and Little Feet. My first concert without parents or anything was Steel Train / Kevin Devine / Ace Ender. I only kinda liked Kevin Devine, but whatever. I didn't see any kick ass shows until 2008.

Oh my god that must have been so cool. Did Erin play drums for both sets?

First concert I went to was ZZ Top and Aerosmith at (what is now) First Niagara Pavilion. Neither were/are my cup o' tea, but it was a pretty fun time!
