i think i said in my previous post that i wasn't crazy about the hardwire rv7 or 8 or whatever it is they call that thing. but it's all lexicon reverbs in the pedal and those sound fucking great for vocals. if i was looking for a guitar pedal to use for reverb on vocals that is definitely the one i would buy. same verbs as a lexicon rack unit. for fairly affordable gear i've always loved lexicon verbs for vocals more than most other shit you run across on house sound systems on tour.

That and the hardwire are both good choices I think for having lots of different reverbs, sounding good and not costing too much.

True but it's a bigger foot pint than the Supernatural and lacks the reverbs that pedal has, which makes that hardwire pedal super appealing due to it all being super ambient. And from what I have read and heard the M series doesn't sound as good as the Hardwire verbs.
For my taste... The Hardwire's reverbs don't get loud enough, although it does have the best sounding reverse mode I've encountered. The Verbzilla/m5/9/13 and Hall of Fame are my favorite "swiss army knife" reverbs. If you're looking for a cheap way to try reverb that sounds great on guitar and vocals, get a used Holy Grail; they're going for under 70 now. If money is no object, I recommend the Spring Theory for a basic, spectacular-sounding guitar reverb pedal.

Thought about getting a big box Holy Grail to match my v4 Small Stone, but the Hall Of Fame seems a little more up my ass. Just as far as like "normal" stuff with a bit of wacky stuff as well.

If the Holy Grail sounds like my nano holy grail, it's the reason i want to avoid EHX verbs. The bloom on the hall sounds great but the decay is discustingly artifical sounding. On top of that I need something that does ambient verbs. I am going to get an RV5 to cover more basic verbs. The Supernatural and rv5 seem to be the combo I need to get.

No, I have had several more versatile reverbs since then, but it's one of the best pedals I ever got rid of.
