LPB troubles

What are the orientations for metal cap transistors

V (ground)
I made a LPB with a 2n222 (cause im lazy right now) and it just gives me a distorted crackle... :mad:
:idk:


so now i fixed the orientation but the sound is just spluttery fuzz crap..
is this because im using a 2n2222? :idk:

Depends what brand, the tab is usually collector then it's just C-B-E
