Im still working on building the new cabinet. It's going to be cooler. I just need to find a beefier router to accomplish certain part of the build.

I think this sounds like it going to be amazing. I've been looking to replace my cheap solid state Fender practice amp for a while, so a great-sounding-small-tube-amp-that-you-might-just-gig-with would be so very cool.

If things work out, do you have any idea what the price might be?

Do it! I like the sound of the two 8" speaker configuration. Oh, and +1 for a head only version!

this cab is still very compact, 15" x 13.5" x 8"

and should have a 10" speaker tucked in

well, as a warm up, ive built my first small tube amp. fun times. but its not the design of the mellowtone amp. and, after building it, i think a mellowtone amp may be way off

in fact, i dont think i will build amps except maybe as a seperate venture with a partner or something.

i think i might returnin the amp projects soon. as long a si can get the cab building nailed down but i think i may have someone to do that. i think its jsut going to be a custom shop type venture, each piece uniquely made to order. im think there could be all sorts of options. parlorette, parlor, parlor especial, parlor reverb, super hall. sozo or non, alnico or no. etc etc. fendery inspired designs. tv fronts and top mount controls.
if anyone wants to pony up to a champ style Parlorette.....
