I'm really thinking about getting another couch and somehow merging it with my padded leather one...

I agree. An ex-girlfriend bought a Souldier strap for me, but I refuse to spend more than $10 on one myself. There is definitely a comfort and durability difference though, so I get why people spend a lot on one.
As a primarily bedroom player, a cheapo Ernie Ball will do.

Not tooooo low.. it's just that it's a V so it sits different and I'm 6'3" and not a beanpole....

Picked up an old boss ME-30 in a trade today,
I am loving it, not sure what to do with it, but it has the manual mode like the 25 and essentially becomes 5 stomp-boxes plus volume and tuner
not all of the sounds are great but the verbs and delays are boss quality and I am digging the comp
